13 for 13 is a striking design created to honour and raise awareness for the 13 recognized subtypes of Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (EDS). Each lightning bolt in the collection has been carefully crafted with unique colours, symbols, and textures to represent one subtype — from the DNA strand for classical-like EDS, to the heart for cardiac-valvular, to the rainbow spectrum for hypermobile EDS.

The lightning bolt was chosen as the unifying symbol of the project: sudden, powerful, and impossible to ignore. Just like EDS, it strikes unexpectedly — but also shines with energy and strength.

This design is part of “13 for 13”, a fundraising campaign for Ehlers-Danlos Support UK (EDS UK). Every purchase helps to fund vital support services, advocacy, and research into this group of rare connective tissue disorders.
